Understand Your Browsing Habits with Block History

Gain powerful insights into your browsing patterns with an optional activity log. You are in complete control of your data.

What is Block History?

Your privacy is paramount. That's why the Block History feature is an opt-in tool that you can enable or disable at any time. It is turned off by default.

When you choose to enable it, the extension keeps a private, locally-stored log of every attempt you make to visit a website on your blocklist. It records the name of the site and the exact date and time the attempt was made. This log serves as a personal data report on your digital habits, helping you identify your biggest temptations, see what times of day you are most vulnerable to distraction, and track your progress as your focus improves.

Key Benefits

  • You Are in Control: This feature is off by default. You make the choice to collect this data for your own personal insights. Your history is for your eyes only.
  • Gain Self-Awareness: Discover which sites are your biggest time-sinks and at what times you are most likely to get distracted.
  • Track Your Progress: Watch as your attempts to access blocked sites decrease over time, giving you tangible proof that your habits are improving.
  • Identify Patterns: Use the data to make your blocking rules even smarter. If you see many attempts to visit a site at 3 PM every day, you might decide to schedule a short, intentional break at that time instead.
