A gentler, smarter way to block. Become more mindful of your browsing habits by allowing a set number of attempts before a block is enforced.
Attempt-Based Blocking is a unique feature designed to interrupt mindless browsing habits. Instead of a hard, permanent block, this rule allows you to visit a distracting site a few times before it locks you out for a "cooldown" period.
You can set a limit, for example, allowing yourself to visit a site 3 times a day. On your fourth try, the site will become fully blocked. This counter can be set to reset automatically each day, giving you a fresh start. This acts as a pattern interrupt, making you consciously aware of how many times you are defaulting to a distracting site out of habit, and helps you build self-awareness to gradually reduce reliance on those sites.
